The country's power facilities have faced increased attacks in the past few days

During the night, Moscow's missile and drone strikes have led to power cuts in extensive areas of Ukraine's capital, the Ukrainian capital.

Several individuals were wounded while inhabitants in eastern districts were plunged into darkness and encountered problems to water systems, according to municipal leaders.

At the same time, a young boy was lost their life in a distinct aerial attack in the southeastern region in the southern area, as reported by area administrators.

Russian forces has increased assaults on electrical systems over the past few days, while Ukrainian leadership has called for "real steps" from international partners to exert influence on Moscow.

Authorities reported that 450 drones and several dozen missiles attacked energy facilities, characterizing such attacks as "cynical and calculated" and against "essential services" as the weather cools.

The energy minister said Moscow was "inflicting a massive strike" and repair crews were laboring to fix the damage.

Local officials said the urban area endured significant strikes during nighttime hours. A minor died and several individuals were injured.

The attacks follow nights of air raids in the territory, sections of which remain under the control of Moscow's military.

All of Ukraine is under warning for advanced weapon attacks, which are harder to detect.

Government officials told journalists that Moscow was purposely seeking to destroy the country's energy grid, with assaults already affecting fuel infrastructure.

Authorities confirmed utility staff and government agencies were bracing for further attacks.
